We have stayed at several Ramada's before, but this one was run down and dirty. Was not what we have experienced before. Woudl not stay here again. We have family in the area, but will choose another hotel in the future
We have stayed at several Ramada's, but this one was run down and dirty. Was not up to our previous experiences. Would not stay here again. We have family in the area, but will choose another hotel in the future.
I liked the location and the price for a reaonably clean facility. Beds and linens were clean and good value with a reasonably good breakfast.
Dirt build up in the corners in the tiled areas. Mattresses were old and felt like they needed to be replaced.
roaches in 1st room ,changed to a second thought it was bug free, but just before turning in found others , nastiest hotel ever stayed at . Will never stay at another ramada inn.
This Hotel was near Camp Legeune/Camp Geiger - where we were visiting our son who is a Marine. Access to both were easy. Our stay was comfortable. Front Desk employees - all times of the day - were very friendly and ready to help.
Room was clean, needs some updating, sheets were clean, but wrinkled. Bathroom floor needs a good scouring - dirt over time has accumulated in the corners.
this Ramada was a huge disappointment to our family and we will not be returning to this Ramada location when we return to Jacksonville
The first room we checked into Room #115 was infested with roaches, not one or two but a nest of them, we walked in, turned on the light and we were instantly GREETED by a large family of cockroaches scurrying around the room-I called the front desk and they said they were sorry and they would put us in another room, for us to come to the front desk to get the key-we turned around, lugging our carry-ons once again returning to the front desk, the room #226 we were given next was not much of an improvement-the air conditioner did not work properly and we had to turn it down to 60 to just try & keep the room comfortable enough for sleeping that evening, the beds and pillows were terrible, the beds were like a piece of foam on a slab of plywood and the pillows were so weak they could be folded in half & a single piece of paper placed upon them would not move (the pillows were so flat they would not even open up under the weight of the single sheet of paper)-our 9 year old son was participating in a UMAA Karate turnament early the next morning and we wanted to get him in bed for some much needed rest after a 2 1/2 hour drive to get to Jacksonville, NC from our home in Myrtle Beach, SC otherwise we would have tried to find another place to stay. We will not stay at this Ramada for his next competition and we will let others in his Dojo know this Ramada is a definite NO-STAY. We have traveled worldwide extensively as a military family and this is one of the worst hotels we have found along our travels. We have stayed in other Ramada inns without any of these problems addressed in this situation, but we will not spend another night at a Ramada after this experience and we will be advising other families and business partners of this bad experience as well via website, emails, word of mouth, and our blogs.
For the money it was fine. But if you want any ammenities other than a bed to sleep in go elsewhere.
Terrace style rather than interior corridors although the brochure would not let you know that. Small rooms and very small bathrooms. Marginal neighborhood. Seasonal pool.
convenient to camp lejuine
Morning Desk Clerk was rude and called me a liar, regarding my reservation through Booked.net. I had reserved a King smoking room, but was told that isn't how the reservation came in. I was accomadated, but upon extending my stay, I again went through Booked.net, reserved again, a King smoking room and added the currant room number so I didn't have to change rooms. I was told that is not what I booked and the hotel was full, she would allow me to keep the room, but I was causing problems for someone else. Since I'd already paid, I tried to get refund to move to another hotel, but Booked.net also said I booked incorrectly and would not refund for remaining days. I will be moving to another hotel on Sunday, as I'm obliged to stay in town to be with our Marine son, waiting on his first child to be born. The rudeness and nonresponsibilty of Booked.net and the hotel staff has added stress to an already stressful situation. I've stayed at this Ramada before, but I'm done and will never ever recommend Booked.net. I have made online reservations for years, but first time through Booked.net, never had a problem before and I know how to book a smoking room.
Extremely simple check in with very friendly staff. Drive up room made unloaded my gear quick and easy. Loved grilling steaks on the outdoor grills in their courtyard area.
The room had bugs, had not been cleaned (food on the floor). The room was in poor repair with water damage and dirty corners. The staff did refund our money, but did not accomodate us in our search for new lodging. Very unhappy
